The Northern California Judo Association, Inc. (Hokka Judo Yudanshakai) is a nonprofit
public benefit corporation serving Northern California. As a charter member of the United States Judo Federation,
Hokka Yudanshakai has rank promotional authority to Godan, or 5th degree black belt. All dan ranks issued by Hokka are
certified by the USJF, and are eligible for Kodokan certification. USJF rank criteria are among the strictest, and
USJF rank continues to be held in the highest regard.
Hokka Yudanshakai sponsors a variety of Judo activities, including, promotional tournaments, kata clinics, referee and
junior development clinics. Hokka members have excelled in competition at the regional, state, and national levels,
producing many state and national champions. |
